Personally, I use the JBL Eon G2's and I really like them. An often overlooked spec on speakers is sound pressure level (SPL). The higher the number, the better this is. Basically, this number tells you how well the speakers will project sound in a room. This lets you project the sound through a room without cranking the volume all the way up. This is important if you plan on doing mobile work. People can still have a conversation without screaming at each other.

I'm not a fan of powered stuff really but I used a pair of B415DSP and thought they were good better than RCF and Mackie.

Shame they don't do matching bass bins.
