It is also wrong. Most of the errors in the bpm detection can be manually corrected while the track is playing by tapping 4 beats with the tap button, starting at the down-beat.
This will correct the down-beat, and will also fix problems such as bpm detected 2x too high or 2x too low, or often fix the bpm if the detected value was not correct at all.

By tapping only 4 times, VDJ still uses the information gathered while analyzing the song, so it does not have to be as accurate as you would be used to when manually tapping bpm.

when I get home I will make a video.....and show what I'm saying....

also it might be a case of how I feel it should work, when it come to having to open other windows
windows to edit things where it could be done in the main waveform..but some upgrades and features have been included from user ideas. but I'm learning this script thing and maybe soon I'll understand it enough to correct this draw back and make it DJ friendly. The editors are the bomb just elementary execution. love the cleaner love how I can remove skits from my videos....so I am happy....

Thanks for the reply,

Good to know, but most often the only error is alignment so we're used to using the single tap, (does single tap whilst playing actually work because visually nothing changes?)

One tap while playing has no effect. If it's just the downbeat that needs correction, 4 taps should work fine.

Please delete late reply

I think you've been pretty clear, a single tap doesn't set the down beat while playing,
if you tap on the downbeat and with the beat 4 times everything should be zen.

Hmm so the only to set the downbeat is to pause the track or open the editor??

The "SLIDE" option (available on SX & NS6) works for this one too.

I even have this feature mapped when I still have my good old Xponent.

That's not how I read it. "Most of the errors in the bpm detection can be manually corrected while the track is playing by tapping 4 beats with the tap button, starting at the down-beat."

So I guess you missed the question marks?? Those usually mean someone is asking a question last time I checked................ But yeah thanks for clarifying that for me.

thats the thing you people are reading im actually tapping...#bug also if your "not" using tap bpm on your mixer or controller please dont tell me what the manual says. I know what it says but its not acting that way. #bug

I haven't actually tested, I'll piece together various bits of wire with my micro controller and have a go.
