i understand why you would want this but did you know that vdj 8 will not use mixed in key info.
so i guess what i am saying is the better want is...... to want vdj 8 to respect mixed in key info....

Just a quicky.... a way to open/hide the folder/sideview panels using vdjscript.
So we can use keyboard/controller keys to open/hide them..
eg
show_folderpanel
hide_folderpanel
show_sideviewpanel
hide-sideviewpanel

Personally I use the comment field for key info, a number of files in my collection don't have key info so the most convenient way would be drag and drop support.

If you need to move tracks about, right click the destination, save the location to the clipboard, highlight the tracks, move to... and paste.
It'd be even better if there was a valid address on the clipboard there was a "Move to saved location" context option

We still want to be able to left align the text in columns that contain numbers (Last seen, BPM, etc.)

the filePATH tab should only show the deepest folder to actually make it usefull (or as an option ::: filepath only shows 'deepest' folder)
i.e. d:\Timm music\dance\groovyhouse filepath should only show groovyhouse
especially if your files are setup like this:
d:\Timm music\dance\groovyhouse
d:\Timm music\dance\EDM
d:\Timm music\dance\wedding right now you only see Timm music (if you dont stretch all over your screen = = = useless

So not filepath then, because filepath is filepath, you want file folder. Yes I agree, especially for filter folders so I can quiz; decked file folder ==. instead of having loads of Ffolders.

I would like to be able to have different sorting to every folder. There could be an option to lock all sorting and take effect on all folders.

Please give us a way to arrange Virtual Folders which have been nested under a main Virtual Folder, in an alphabetical order automatically. Or if this is already possible, could somebody please explain it to me how it is done. Thanks.

Strangely there isn't a context option for reset order for Vfolders,
Go to
C:\Users\YourMachine\Documents\VirtualDJ\Folders\
Find your master Vfolder open it , find the .order file delete it.

Not sure if it's possible to fix, but when mixing in key 10 and 2 go together harmonically - if I'm not mistaken - is it possible to write that association into the KeyDiff flag during an update?

10 and 2 might work in some cases but they are not harmonically matched :-)

Use a filter in search field:
- enable by option
use scheme like artist-title-album-coment --> separated by "-"!
if you have enabled all tag fields you can now use a "-" to filter your search
"---Keyword" search only in comment
"Keyword-" search only in artist
"--Keyword" search only in album
"-keyword" search only in title
