So over the past week ive been following this story posted on the facebook group DJ FAILS... Jazzy Jeff weighed in... What does the VDJ community know... ?

Grandmaster Jay is the spoke-person for Beamz DJ, uses a set Jazzy Jeff did in 2009...

I never heard of Grandmaster Jay until now. I seen a DJ posting a Video of GJ using Beamz and GJ talking about how he doesn't need to bring his Turntables. GJ is a Jazzy jeff impersonator so he can sell low end Dj products.
 
Flash has waded in as well now...

His wikipedia page has now had a complete makeover... quite a good/funny read ;-)

And if Flash doesn't know him...
 
Just beyond crazy! I never seen anything like this mess ever in all my years as a DJ! This is obviously the case of a slick talking dude who got exposed and sad he has given the company a bad name before people can try out the product and give a real evaluation before passing judgment on the product. As far as he goes, he really needs to wake up to the reality that hes a living legend in his own mind! I saw a video of him mixing and he had the worst case of serato face to dat8e and his scratches weren't even average! Just bad for business and he has a lot of damage control ahead of him!
 
Agree, but why wouldn't the company do their research?
 
That is a question I ask about many companies idn the corporate world, they hire someone on the basis of what he or she wrote on their resume, onlyto find out they lied and get bit in the butt for doing things that way! They should have done that in the first place, but they ddidn't, so we will see how they bounce back.
 
Kinda gives VDJ a black eye as Beamz ships with VDJ... Brace yourselves as serato users have a new joke to bash us with...

Grandmaster Jay said The He Bumped Into Grand Wizard Theodore's turntable and that's how the scratch was Created. LOL Yeah Right. Grand Wizard was Blasting his Music at home in his room and his mother yelled at him to lower it down. While she was standing on front of him, Wizard with one hand on the vinyl, He accidentally scratched the record. After she left his room, he started messing around with what he discovered.

After reading some of the articles around Beamz and their 'we are the hottest thing ever happened to the musical world' advertising, I get the idea they are putting massive amounts of funds in pumping up their stock, showcasing the company for sales or getting ready to release a serious product (which i doubt). I truly cant believe all this negative attention they are now getting is going to be good for product sales.

Bravo for whatever marketeer got their name out that much though by pinching the whole music industry...

If a Serato user needs this to bash VDJ, that just contines to show their own ignorance! I find it funny a dj can be judged on a software he or she uses and not their skills! Especially when 99% of them are bashing because of what they heard and have yet to experience! It's no wonder they're still taking one of my controllers out of this dudes head after I slapped with it for trying that BS with me!

People really need to stop with the BS, if you dont like it, dont use it, but dont dare try to come at a person because of their personal choice!

All agreed for sure, but it has nothing to do with this thread. This is about Beamz and 'Grandmaster' Jay that together are trying to sell using grand exaggeration, falsification and even plagiary.
 
I believe he's just commenting on DJsazra saying this now gives fanboys another reason to hate on VDJ even though I haven't seen anyone say anything about VDJ........
