Hey All you NS 7 users, could u=you post if you are Mac or Windows, as I am reading about how there are problems with this new version and I dont want to try it if I dont need it, and if the bugs are on my platform. it would just help us all out. I am running 6.05 on both of my Macs and it is GREAT, On my Dell inspiron 17, it sucks! The ONLY reasonI want to upgrade is if they ever get the Mic working. Really guys, come on, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!! My DJIO sucks, and I hate using a second mixer, can we PLEASE get the Mic to work?!

I always do this on a fresh install. No it did not help.

You have to test it on the computer you're gonna use for the gig. Rule no.1 Take a copy of your VirtualDJ folder before installing the 6.0.7. I am playing videos and have Dell XPS m1730 laptop. The problem i've got is
#1 - ESI gigaportAG soundcard - Tried to use the new driver from them, version 2.840 but the computer freeze when going to Config settings and shutdown the program. So I installed the old version 2_811 and everythings work fine again.
#2 - I have to use the Registry Tools to activate the nvidiafreezebug so I can Automix videos without hickups.

deleting the mappers did not work uninstalling first did not work i had to revert back to the older version of the vdj i literally sat down for hours messing around with configs and nuthing yet
 
I have the NS7 the 6.0.5. works great with the ns7 you can scratch with really good response and everything works well with the platters on, but now that I have upgraded to 6.0.7 everything went to poop. I think 6.0.5 is the best version for the NS7 itself but that's just my opinion I actually just reinstalled 6.0.5 and I am about to hook up my NS7 now to make sure everything was the same before the update. be back in a jiff to tell you if everything is good.

Oh and if you are working with the NS7 and virtual DJ on windows 7 shut off your windows auto-update because if windows decides to update during a gig or what not it will actually do something to the driver for the ns7 where it will shut the driver down and virtual dj and the ns7 will just stop completely.
 
everything is working great with the NS7 and VDJ 6.0.5
 
fantastic to see the NetSearch filter updated!

Does this update fix/address the sound card issue I have previously mentioned on the forums? Basically (from further testing) any external sound card loaded onto the red deck will sporadically fail causing bubbling, poping and at times duplicated, delayed sound to be played. A work around has been to go into the cofig menu, change the red deck's sound card, and then back again before hitting apply.

Has this been addressed?

how to import the headphone controls in vdj skin, 6.7
 
We really need a fix for the ns7 issue on 6.07. I can use 6.05 with the ns7 but that means going back to the video freezing issue. Can't we have both??

Some of us NS7 users have sound problems in 6.0.7 like in previous versions before 6.0.5.

6.0.5 is the version which works.

Just wanted to say thanks to the virtual DJ team for the update. in my opinion 6.07 feels more responsive, than 6.05, with the hercules rmx, more quick responding. Not saying anything was really wrong for me with 6.05. thanks again and keep up the great work, I'm sorry to hear about the probs some people are getting with 6.07 especially with the RMX. the guy i baught my rmx from last year sometime, he said it himself that the rmx is really hard to set up. I had a more basic setup before the rmx. the main thing is to tweak your system no matter what OS your using and controller your using. The Primary Hard Drive should have VIrtual DJ installed. as far as music and videos (if doing video's also) should either be on a secondary HD or external USB, that external HD works better with Virtual DJ if it has an external power supply or if it supports the Y-USB cable (the one with the power and data connection seperate) Hubs arn't really reccommended unless they have they're own power supply but can probably cause trouble as far as latency and maybe occasional popping because of the way VIrtual DJ handles it. and i would also reccommend 7200rpm hard drives also. THis is all from my experience, please don't take anything in the wrong way. You don't really need a high end laptop but would reccommend at least a mediocre especially if planning on doing videos! I know i may be repeating what others may have said, but those others i'm sure had the similar experiences that i had. as far as tweaking goes on the OS main hard drive. U can make a New profile, and modify the visual appearence on that one, but u still have to exit apps such as VIrus Scanners especially virus Scanners, and some processes, bluetooth, modem, make sure wifi is off, bluetooth is off and not running any bluetooth app in the background. Also install the latest Driver the rmx on the official hercules site. I tweaked myself before i even read the tweak guide for virtual dj! It will very much Help! I installed the 6.07 virtual DJ right over the VIrtual DJ 6.05, well backup up my PC like always first, and everything ran great, some settings ressetted and the skin resetted, that' all!! everything stayed the way it was, and it just feel more responsive!! could be imagining things, lol. didn't gig with the 6.07 yet, but recorded some CD's, ran flawlessly! Keep practicing and experimenting with different settings, thanks...
