I had just reloaded XP 64 the night before 6.0.7 was uploaded. After reading some of the posts about still having video freeze I decided I would create a dual boot to test the update with Win 7 rather than loose my only stable platform.

I'm still getting video freeze but no where near what was going on before. Like the others my video freezes for a few seconds, unfreezes and then freezes again until the opposite deck is reloaded. While the stuck frame is twitching on the screen I can sometimes see where the video is actually at kinda strobing through the stuck frame.

Decode in multi-thread checked or unchecked, sound card latency set to auto, performance preset to fastest, no plugins, stock skin...doesn't matter. It's back to mix and reload as fast as possible but at least I don't have to deal with that awful XP sound card driver...for now.

I don't have fluctuating bpm's anymore on a positive note. I think you are heading in the right direction just keep pushing. Thanks!
 
Huh,,,thanks "hippydog" yeah it works but had to reload clips.the pics were wrong ones..wierd. other than that i wonder if im to do a "clean install" (did'nt ) since I had 2 cratches right after installing 6.7 though I figured it might had to do with me changing skins and settings,also Im been getting a new problem and its the Scratching function not working and Im having to go into configurations options and re-select vinyl. it changes to CD on its own (?) and actually this started hapenning a while back.then it will do it again (no sratching) after loading a new VIDEO.when it happens again I go back to configurations and re-set to vinyl again (Im using a HERCULES RMX ?) ...other than that i get the feelling this version its rRight on Time....SO..there...I sayd it ...O.K.? (he,he)
 
how do i configure virtuadj 6.0.7 with numark mixdeck. im not 100% sure what i need to do. Can some one please help!!!
 
i still have the clipbank glitch where the clip speeds up after a video .........???????????

the preview pane size is fixed , but that's minor, doesn't effect what the customers see .....

i wish you would fix these video glitches for those of us that do video .....

the referenced system ....Vista home premium 64 bit , 6 months young , well maintained gig unit , 8 gigs Ram , ATI 4650 video card 1 gig ram

i hope the titler will work again with this release, i like the titler.... i like all the sbdj and cel plug ins.....
 
so i am confuese so is this update helping the ns7 or causing more trouble? does the mic now work cause for that i will download it and work on all other stuff that pops up

no, I dont think 6.0.7 has the "mic input" yet..
but the history says

I'd like to jump in and give my thanks to the develpoment team for their continued work in developing a rock solid product! I personally won't have a chance to DL and test it this week but I'm looking forward to trying it out!
 
Yeah! last nite gave it a short run ...everything ran smooth,videos with sonique on top,clipbanks ! (THANKS VDJ CREW!!) But the wierd thing im still getting is that the SCRATCH mode De-activates itself and i have to go into CONFIGURATIONS/OPTIONS and Re-select Vinyl in that it sets itself to CD.this started before version 6.5 ,not sure was causing it...Anyone?
 
OK so here is my experience with the new vers.
on windows:
-CDJ400 works much better... scratchin now feels as i'm doing it on a cd!! just great!
-video is just a bit better (had no problems before also)

+ i notice a stupid bug:
win i use 1 of my cdj400s and play a file -> waveforms on the top just moving not so smoothly.
when i go to setting and switch the sound setting to 2 channel mixer and assio as sound cards -> waveforms go back to run smooth

this problem don't bother me cuz i always use the 2 channel mixer option, but maybe it will help you guys solve this problem to others.

on mac:
cdj400 are great
video still way back from windows - i can't loop properly, "heavy" videos are not running as smooth as they should ext.

if i'll find some more stuff i'll post here again...

I just finish a session of live video mixing on mi Acer Aspire 5534 with AMDx2 processor and Ati Radeon HD3200 and 2gb Ram... 6 hours non stop... no issues at all... thank's to the Dev team.

yo Vdj team thanks for fixing the timecode issues :) i just tested it out yesterday with my Cdj 800mk2 and wow ! i was blown away!
thank you thank you by far the best version by yet also :) i haveing that pitch problem with my Ns7 i klnow its just a lil bug no big deal :) youll guys will fix it but as far as Timecode goes :) great job !

I too am having the pitch problem with my NS7. Guess its back to 6.0.5.

 
Hi There , i just downloaded vdj 6.0.7and noticed that when you go to samples , its missing the volume part in the middle ....
My dj laptop is 15inches .... so i tried puting vdj 6.0.7 on my work laptop and its 17 inchs and still the same , no volume control ...Thats untill i click and expand the skin and then i see it .... i use the titanuim skin and i belive it only happens to this skin and started from 6.0.7

I really want to use this skin only and its the only skin i use .... Is there anyway of fixing this .... any help would be great

Have not tried the new version yet, but with everything I read here, I will have to make sure I test really well on my desktop first.

Its been said with just about every release..

Test.. Test. Test.
Never EVER install a new version and then go play in front of a crowd that night..
(unless you have a complete back up system)

also, always keep a copy of the older VDJ installs, in case you ever need to install an older version..

tested it out in full with NS7 and pitch is going crazy back to the older version but that kinda sucks for my herc steel it was rocking real nice with the new version
