Thanks, will keep that in mind...

Not sure when yet though, as I'm kinda pioneering (excuse the pun) VDJing in this area. Noone does it, so I'm trying it out at my residency to see if it sparks any interest then will think about adding it to the mobile rig.

Cheers,

2 yards will give you a 10' X 7' screen. Cost $50.
Use a soldering iron to put holes in it for bungie ties works perfect and it's machine washable, fire proof, tear proof, and wrinkle proof. I support it with 2 9 foot Ultimate support stands with a 10' piece of 2" black PVC pipe between them.

I've been carrying 2 of these for years and have a 3 yard 16'X9' in the backyard for 3 years.

The way I cut down rear projection throw distance with a mirror mounted to small speaker stand. My projectors need a 14' distance to throw a 10' wide picture. I cut that to 8' by placing the projector on the floor at the base of the screen pointed away from the dance floor behind the screen. Then the mirror is placed 8' behind the screen to reflect the light up to the back of the screen.

I see they now make very short 6' throw projection lenses. Using a mirror to could cut the throw to 3'-4'. but you would need to carry a 5' mrror!
