The word is criticizing btw.. What you call "critizing", is what I call having an opinion. In case you haven't noticed, the spicy topics get bumped up and eventually locked - so why bother.
Let me rephrase - To me this is one of the most boring forums, because it is over-modded....

We may be guilty of a little over moderation on this forum as we try to clean up stray, off topic and personal my space type posts.
It has been our policy from the beginning to not moderate but as the forum has grown so have these kinds of problems.
Pretty much if you stick to the rules of engagement shown at the top of each forum things are left alone though.
And yes, we have had some reports of over moderation and have taken appropriate action upstairs at times but for the most part our moderators do an excellent job without personal agendas.
The ssl forum can be a bit of a snake pit with a group of people who seem to "run this town" and that is what we try to prevent, not to mention some out of control egos that kind of turned my stomach.
Granted, to stand up in front of thousands of people and mix takes an ego to over come the fear and some do it well, some over do it.
But just the same, we should all treat each other as equals and that is not the case over there.
I personally have been moderated over there in discussions involving what they thought was an illegal music video service and when I challenged their facts got absolutely no satisfaction from them that their information was correct, just a public spanking is all I got.
We give members much more respect than that if moderation becomes necessary.
To me that seemed a little one sided and unfair.
The irony is that many of the video editors and one owner of this service are regulars on that forum and they obviously know it.
Go figure...
