Ok guys,
I've been experimenting with Mixify lately - basically it's an icecast server with a nice website around it. I can connect to it without problem, but only when I pick MP3 I get playback on the site. Using any of the Ogg settings, I can connect just fine, but I get absolute silence. I have no other icecast servers to test against, so I have no idea if it is Virtual DJ, or Mixify, or a mix of both. Contacting Mixify, they assume the issue is the variable bitrate. In VDJ8 we can only choose a certain Q setting - not a fixed bitrate.
Did anyone else experiment with icecast/ogg ?

OK just tested streaming myself - set up a local icecast server. All seems to work fine, so the problem is with Mixify.
