Hi, i've just installed my Hercules Rmx Console and i have a few questions:
1) Is there any midi-mapper available because i am unsatisfied with some of my buttons/faders and want to change their functions?
2) If not, is there any other way of configuring these changes?
3) Why do some of my buttons have blue lights and others don't? (Only very few of my buttons light-up) Can i fix this?
4) What software is currently available for changing things such as what the effects buttons do and from where can i get this?
5) The headphone jacks on the front and top of the RMX provide no sound output for me and i am currently using Output 1 on the back but i would like to use the headphone port on the front of the console, how can i set this up?

1, 2, and 4 are the same question. I'm not certain of the answer. Sorry.
3. Because the RMX is USB powered, in order to keep power consumption down, not all the buttons light up. It was designed this way.
5. Are you using the VDJ LE software, or a different version of VDJ (I'll presume you're using some version of VDJ, since you've asked on this forum). If you're using a pro version, can you please describe how you've config.ed?

the problem with the blue led lights (fx an kill buttons) is not fixed yet, everyone with the rmx got the same problem.....

There is No mapper for the RMX as of yet, and to be honest I don't think there will ever be, or it would have been done by now!!!!
However, there is a plugin that can change the 6x6 effects buttons, but I think you need the Pro version to use it.

The problem is that virtual dj works as sdk. I asked the hercules staf if there is an option to change the button config , but the only thing you can do is set the rmx in midi in the vdj config and configure each button your self.
