I RECENTLY PURCHASED THE NUMARK TOTAL CONTROL AND HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO POWER UP THE CONTROL.(CONTROL NOT DETECTED PLEASE PLUG IN AND CUE AGAIN)THIS MESSAGE POPS UP EVERY TIME I CLICK THE CUE ICON,I HAVE BEEN TOLD NOW BY PEOPLE AT NUMARK THAT THE PROBLEM IS THAT I HAVE A 64 BIT AND THE CONTROL ONLY WORKS WITH COMPUTER THAT IS 34 BIT.HAS ANY ONE HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM IF SO CAN U ADVISE ON SOLUTION?

try runnning it on a 32 bit OS and see if there is a problem there. this will tell you if it is the numark or the computer that is the problem. the total control should run fine on 64 bit OSs so their excuse seems like a bit of a cop out. I think what they are trying to say is they 'dont support' 64bit OSs to save some hassle.
plug it in a mates computer (32bit) and see if there is a problem there also

As of right now..the only controller I know of that will work with a 64 bit OS is the MKII and the RMX. Perhaps as the 64bit OSs become more prevalent that will change.
