This saturday I was doing a fundraiser. After I setup, I did my normal soundcheck and everything was running fine.
For this fundraiser we were sitting idle for about 4 hours of not playing anything with my numark cue set-up.
I had Numark cue up on the screen but wasn't playing anything for about 4 hours.
When it came time to start playing my music, I loaded a song and hit play, and no audio out of my speakers, but cue was playing the song on the screen. After checking all connections in my system, they looked good, so I powered everything down, did a complete shutdown and powered back up. It started working again. After playing a couple songs, it happened again...no audio from cue.
I switched over to CDs while I did a restart on my laptop, restarted the program and it worked for the rest of the night.
This was scary and embarrassing at the same time. Luckily, it never happened for the rest of the night!
Does anyone know what might be causing this? I have never had this happen to me since I started using Numark Cue
I am running windows Vista Home premium 32 bit version on my laptop. I am running the latest version of Numark cue now.
I am using an M-Audio fast Track Pro for my audio interface.
Recently, I did some updates for windows Vista and upgraded to the latest version of Cue.
This is when I started having these problems with no audio randomly happening. Could it be because I haven't updated my drivers for the
M-Audio fast track pro since I started using it?
Has anyone ever had this happen to them while using Numark Cue?
