Hi there fellas.

I just started using VDj (almost 1 week by now) and i really like what it's capable of doing and i want to go a little further. At the moment, i mix only with my mouse and the basic equipment for a pc, no externals (like mixers and stuff).

So the reason of this post is, can someone give me some advices for the near future, what to buy, what kind of mixers are good, players and so on.

Hello, and welcome. There are many different options open to you. Why don't you tell us what direction you want to take with your DJing. That will help everyone here give you better advice. Do you want to do house mixing? Or is Hip Hop/Scratch mixing more your style? Also wedding Djing is another option. Each one of these types of DJing has its own unique trials and set ups. So please tell us what you would like to accomplish from DJing and I bet you get a lot of very good suggestions from the users here. Good Luck
 
Oh sorry, forgot that detail. Well i really want to mix house music, deep house and so on, anyway club music. I made an extended mix of a beautyfull song this days.

I was thinking at a Hercules mixer or what that is.. it's good or not ?
 
Yes, both the RMX and MKII are solid pieces of kit.

i agree but i can see some techno drum and bass band gettin jiggy with it
 
I don't need drum and bass or techno, i need advices at some house music, with what mixer is easyer or what can i use in future to sound better.

so i bought a hercules dj control mk2 with vdj from it. but, i can't use downloaded skins, some error xml line 15 or something like that pops out when i want to apply them..

help?
