I had some mp3\'s in a folder and I deleted the folder and the files are still showing up when I do searches. Most of the time there are numbers in front of the file name such as
05 Lollipop.
If i drop the file in the queue to be played It gives me an error message. What\'s the best way to get rid of these stray files when I delete folders or move folders from one place to another? i just want to clean my directory of all these stray files with out having to delete one at a time.

Use the check, clean, fix in the browser tab in the config of vdj;)

Actually, I've been doing that, prolly once or twice a month and they still dont go away? A year ago, one the techs told be do do it in this order:
clean, check and then Fix.
does it matter?

If that doesn't work, you can right click on that particular folder or song.
Then click on remove search from database.
Then click on remove search from database.
