I downloaded the scrolltext effect and installed the .dll file. The file is present in my plugin folder, yet when I click on the effect in VDJ, I get an error message that I'm missing the dll file. I reinstalled the effect, and again the problem persists.
What gives?

I assume you've installed all the prerequisites as specified in the included documentation file?
