Hey guys Just a quick question,


Im looking for some songs that you would play along with 5000 Miles im not sure what you would call that gendre (rock, irish, english) LOL any help would be awsome.

out of extremely morbid curiosity, i just have to ask - WHY?
 
Correct me if I'm wrong... do you mean 500 miles by the Commitments or Proclaimers? there are others as well

gendre ? she's one of my fave dancers at the strip club .......

it was originally by the commitments .....
 
Not sure how the BPM's will line up, but Dropkick Murphy is a nice choice if it's an Irish thing.

"Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm'' by Crash Test Dummies comes to mind for some reason. Maybe because they came out around the same time and I could not decide which one I hated more.

Deadeye Dick ''New Age Girl'' might be another good one- A LOT better for a strip club too.

Side note: You'd have to pay me big $$$ to play "I Could Be"

You could try Great Big Sea, Run Runaway,The End of the World, orThe Night That Patty Murphy Died
or
"Last Saskatchewan Pirate" - Captain Tractor
"Home for a rest" - Spirit of the West
"Heave Away" - The Fables. (If you have lots of Newfoundlanders (Newfies) in your establishment Be ready for a lot of cheering, bad singing and the occasional spontaneous Jigs with this selection.)


Have Fun. With the right Crowd You can play this stuff for an Hour and half the entire bar believing they are from the East Coast.
 
So did any of the suggestions the guys make help you out at all?

You had 2 choices;

You could have not responded at all
or
You could have made a suggestion to help him out two weeks ago when he asked; and it mattered.
 
And YOU had no reason to answer me because you failed to recognize a "Sense of Humor"....

Perhaps you should READ the forum more often, I normally answer posts that start with "Hey Dudes".... Hey Guy's.... hey all you "Manly Men", "Hey people who have a PENIS in their pocket"..... just in fun, no malice intended.

Again it's called a "Sense of Humor"......GOOGLE IT.
