You can use your mkII as a sound interface but you would need a regular mixer VDJ pro and some time code records.

Thanks

Regular mixer check. Have my old Vestax Streetmaster 5005. The only thing i have left from my DJ days :(

And the turntables? Use any of the ones on the market? Technics 1200s, kam, reloop or someone else?

Thanks again. Just have to save some money now and buy the stuff i need. The house is currenty taking all of my money.

You need Virtual DJ Pro, timecode vinyls and a asio soundcard that has 2 stereo inputs and 2 stereo outputs.

The MK2 has that, but a little slow asio drivers, so the scratch might not be the best sounding possible, but still ok.

Thats all you need..

But its a plus to crossfade on a real mixer, so if you can afford that, its a plus

hope that helps ;)

About the timecoded vinyls. I have a friend that runs serato and he has two unsused tcv becourse he bought some more colourful when i bought it. Can i use these tcv whit VDJ?

Yes u can use serato vinyl now using noisemap in VDJ;)

Hope to see u with us soon;)

The noisemap is that something that comes whit the pro edition or something you have to add?

It was added to the Timecode config in VirtaulDJ 5.1

The noisemap timecode engine allows you to play Serato vinyls with VirtualDJ.

Thanks all for answering my stupid questions. now i know what i need. Thanks again!

Are you sure you can use the Serato Vynil because I seem to lose the time code after a few minutes. Also the Time Code does not seem as strong as Torq

Yes you can.. btw the timecodes lose control in ur case is that u have the djc edition which only permit limited time to use.

Have you considered Virtual Vinyl?
