DJ PAYASO LIVE
I have the Hercules RMX and i am using virtual dj 5. am using a new (10 days old) Dell Studio laptop that does not have anything but my music on it. When i am playing my music the music has very fast little breaks where you here the music stop for a sec. I was using my old laptop and had the same problem and i thought my old laptop was just to slow. that is why i bought the new one. i dont know what is causing the (skipping) please if anyone can help. Sorry im a noob.

First thing I would do is register your product and download the updates. Also, make sure you have updated drivers for your RMX.

First off thanks for the responce. When i first installed virtual DJ i upgraded everything to the new drivers and program but i only made things worse. so i unstalled everything and it got alittle better. i will try it again and see if it is any better.

I notice ah problem with the hercules but i got it fixed,
It have a pop in the music like a little crackle but only for a millisecond, I TRIED everything from closing programs and sercies, and checking to see if there is any conflicts, The latency was not the problem either,
to get rid of the music little distortion was easy,
I not sayin it is the brightest idea but it is worth the try, ALL U need to do is configure ur Virtual dj,
The headphones on the Hercules dj console rmx is the problem, When i play it straight from my computer i get no pop in music,
The answer get a usb headphone OR a external sound card like sound blaster. You need to separte the headphone from the hercules rmx.
I set my VDJ to 2 sound cards and 1 was the hercules rmx and the other 3&4 was my external sound card used for my headphones.
Simple as that, by seperate the two, it works perfect with the right low latency mines is at 11.
by previewin the music on the hercules thru the headphones make the rmx work twice as hard. so i preview my select cue on the external sound card.
Please try this, The hercules only has one sound card so my advice is to get the usb headphone and try it before u disable norton 2008 or internet.

I am having some issues with the Hercules Rmx the last couple of gigs. I will be playing a song and all of a sudden it just stops and all buttons freeze. I have to shut down vdj and open it up again then everything works. I have been playing with this system for 1 year and never gave me any problems until now. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this.

Need Help Please : I tried everything i could to make the VDJ Pro work with my Hercules RMX but same problem Error in the ASIO SOUND CARD. I did download the latest drivers no luck... : C Anyone can help

1) In the DJ Control Panel, make sure the Audio mode is set to WDM.
3) Launch VDJ. You will probably have an ERROR IN THE SOUND DRIVER message, but this normal.
For Sound Setup, configure as follow:
- Input : None
- Output(s): Headphone
-Soundcard: DJ Console Rmx,
then check the box APPLY EQ ON EXTERNAL SOURCES, then click APPLY.
You should then notice that in the control panel, the audio mode should have automatically changed to ASIO.
Close VDJ and then reopen it. You should not get that error anymore. If you do, simply make sure the audio configuration is set properly.
