At the mo I print invoices from made MS word and pin them into a folder, then mark on a calendar when I am booked….could really do with an electronic booking system which will produce invoices from a booking and will let me know when I am booked up.
Just wondering if there is any software out there to do this? And if so if any one has had any experience with it.
Not bothered about paying for something good but don’t want to pay loads of $$$

I have used Infomanager since 1999. They are on Ver3.0 now and 3.5 will be out by the end of the year. I hope. It's a little pricey compared to other solutions, but if you have a lot of information to track with dates and customers, infomanager will make it a snap. Tracking my client info and staying organized is one thing that keeps me ahead of my competition.

If you need a program running on your laptop, I don't know.
But, if you know some basic php + mysql, it's a bunch of free scripts out there doing stuff like this. Then you can manage your booking from all the world where you have a internet connection.

Take a look at this site.
It is a web based program, so you can access it from any computer or phone with wifi. There is a free 30 day trial and it's relatively inexpensive.
I use it to do all of my bookings, assign staff DJ's, generate contracts and sales reports. I used to use Infomanager, but now I use DJ Webmin.
