Hey Everyone,
I just started dabbling with Venue VJ. I downloaded a few videos, they are a VIX file. I cant seem to get them to work in VDJ. I did get an email back from Venue VJ telling me I need to 'register the .vix extension' . I dont really know what to do, though. There support team seem to be on the ball. I will shoot them another message also. I downloaded a KJ file through them and it worked just fine. Has anyone had any experience with the VIX file and could someone please help?

They are supported as of Version 5 and you should not need to add the VIX extension. However, check your codecs tab in the config. It is most likely the last entry in the list. And if you are not running version 5 then you will not be able to use the files as the encoder is a proprietary encoding and therefore it's decoding is native to VirtualDJ's Video Decoder.
