Topic: i hate vista hate hate hate.. - Page: 1

ok as time goes by im getting my setup right got a laptop vista pre installed... but it just doesnt work well at all....why does xp peform better wit vdj....i am so frustrated wit resizing screen, fluctuating bpms, noise but on our xp machine theres none of these problems at all.....vista is garabage....getting my doe right and going mac..

I have two computers, I would NEVER rely on one system. I have a second computer in the booth. Both are about the same as far as specs. One runs XP the other runs Vista, both run great.

I suggest getting your "DOUGH" together and buy a licensed copy of VDJ rather than buying a MAC. You are apparently running a trial version or a cracked version, updating the software would be my FIRST suggestion.

There some very talented folks here that will help you fix damn near any problem.

Yes Teary, (I'm using Teary, the whole "tearing things up" seems too aggressive)

I'm being nice, I hate people who don't use caps and string together three HATES without a fuggin comma.

But I figured if he could afford a "MAC" he could tip ATOMIX a few bucks for their trouble.

Give us more information then. I use vista on my gig machine, doing audio and video, and have absolutely no issues with it.

Vista isn't fantastic, agreed, but I suspect it's more likely something to do with your setup.
 
i agree with renee .... in fact , i always agree with renee ....

i wanna point out though that i use almost no caps either .....

i like renee , she 's kinda spunky .....

uuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh obviously the fact that the xp machine works well means you don't have to go Mac ......

did you have to tweak the xp machine ?? if no you are just lucky that's not the norm .....
if your copy of the software is a crack .....fer shame .......flip some more burgers 'til you can pay for a legit copy...... it worked fer me

if you don't know squat about computers , that ain't VDJ's fault ........and they have all kindza info and a wiki ..... so stop the jibber jabber on the cell phone and get to work .......

Teary works Renee, its close enough to my real name. Even Chuck and Marcel call me Teary...so its all good....

It's all in ya mind, Vista run's great, lol, if you sort it out.

Everybody will have to use Vista sooner or later!!!!!!

 
Been using Vista and VDJ since v4.3

No issues.

Doe is a deer...a female deer.
 
Vista is a rough OS, one of the main reasons you can still find XP computers (at least at a corporate level) is the large corporations are not comfortable migrating their business to Vista. I'm running Vista Ultimate and knock wood so far so good.

translation: we gonna sell this crap and give it away, and make it so you pretty much have to buy a new computer if you're old one can't be upgraded to the minimum specs to run the software, which means the computer manufacturers have to buy the software license to put it on the ones they're selling, and if you want to run the "better" versions of the software then you have to spend more money. and then yank support for the older software out from under the users and force them to use (buy!) the newer one.




oh..did i mention i detest vista?

seriously tho, vista is an overblown joke. if they wanted to impress me they would have taken xp apart line by line, fixed everything wrong with it and then released it.

 
now i see my problem windows 3.1 is realy strugling with VDJ and as for windows 95 i dont think my 486 dx 2 prossesorr can take that amount of
stick what is Vista ? i have been living under a cabbage leaf for a while and need to find a new home . Good luck all you high fliers windows 7 and touch screen tech is about to make all your comps obsoleate once again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now what planet am i on going to find a big rock to live under Progress onward and Backward.......
