Topic: vdj 5.1 vs. vdj 5.2????

Whoah!!!

might be unrelated directly to our beloved VirtualDJ, but...

2 hours into my gig on Saturday, after upgrading just earlyer that afternoon, the PC shut down and refused to start up again!!
Had power but wasnt showing BIOS screens!!!

looks like a Graphics Card / PSU issue.


all strange as this happens after upgrading virtual DJ.

Maybe a coincidence, as computers dont last forever!! lol
 
sounds like your motherboard is toast.
 
For the 1st time since I started using virtual dj back in '06, I had to downgrade back to 5.1. First it kept resetting my button cofigurations for my RMX & then the sound started breaking up using WDM drivers, back to 5.1 & problems solved;^]

Me too Timmy. 5.2 lasted about 15 mins on my gig laptop, before I reverted back to 5.1.

5.1 has almost been perfect for me, with TCV/maya and the RMX.

i can get it past bios with a graphics card that dosent need extra power, and only half the ram chips...
