Looks OK to me Rick, never heard of any bad monitors from Acer. My LG same size and specs was 40 bucks more....

Acer are a part of the Asus group, and they are well known for building quality equipment, so it should be fine mate.

first of all 22" is the new standard size monitor...
newegg has great deals and free shipping all time. i just checked on newegg(.com) and they have that same exact monitor with free shipping (indefinate) so there's no hurry...
to make it even better, if u subscribe to newegg's newsletter they send u great deals via email. and the emails come with a promo code that knocks an extra $5 to $10 off or free shipping... so u get the stuff for even cheaper. tigerdirect and zipzoomfly or any other site can't really keep up or compete with newegg.
the only site that can compete with newegg is ebay. but u don't know what ur getting from ebay. i was about to sell my proview 22". the auctions sell nice 22" for about $170-$2something + $20 shipping.
if u hunt coupon forum sites u can get nice circuit city, best buy and walmart coupon deals that give u an extra 10% off monitors which comes to about $20.. u see ppl celebrating all the time in those forums getting new 22" lcd monitors for $160...
with all that said, a SWEET deal on a NEW 22" monitor can cost u about average $170...
