New Shortcuts (actions) Needed
-------------------------------
1. Turntable -> Enable/disable Needle drop feature
2. Browser -> Go_to Favorite folder.
By changing the "value" to go to the desired favorite folder with just a key.
- Along with the option "recurce" for every favorite folder, (per folder setting if possible)
or just a separate "recurce" action for all folders.
3. Browser -> Short by (Title - Author - Bpm - comment etc.)
By changing the "value" to short by the desired culumn with just a key.
example: value=3 short by BPM, value=1 short by Title,
AND value=0 Reset (short by Most played -default AutoSort)
4. Browser -> Open Right click menu (just act like the mouse right click and open the menu, where the dj easily select and apply commands like analize, using the keyboard only)

Have you ever seen a scratch dj in action ?
When i was in DMC (i was a dmc champion in Greece sometime...)
we used, not only our hands (in turntables) but, ...foots ...nose (for crossfader...), everything you can imagine... to do many things at once.
How to "limit" my ..energy to my right hand-> 2 fingers... 2 buttons (left-right click) ?

I support the idea of disabling the needle drop feature as this would aid users who cannot get their signal quality to consistantly stay about 50%. Mine fluctuates between about 20% and 70% and as a result the needle drop feature works somtimes, however if I put the need on the vinyl and the needle drop feature doesn't work, a bit further into the track it realises the needle isnt in the right place compared to the playing track which causes it to jump to that spot. I hope I explained that ok!!
Anyway Ive found a work around, I just make sure the signal quality stays at 0% by ticking invert phase. (I dont know what thats supposed to do but it works for me)

mmm. i think i need that sorting shortcut for the browser too... i really like to use ONLY the keyboard, because its faster than a mouse....can someone tell the team to make this shortcut for us???, it would be nice if vdj can be managed only with the shorcuts.... thanxs

In Pcdj red it was easy, pressing control+(left/right)arrows, to toggle sort by columns.(artist,title, etc)
Lets see, if we can get this in Virtualdj.
And shortcuts to the favorite folders is important too..
(like in Final scratch/traktor)

It would be interesting to add inside the menu for tracks (right click of mouse) in the browser: "send to playlist" with a shortcut as "alt+enter" for example (using the same idea as prelisten)

A single shortcut will be easier for me, but why not..
At the other hand if right click menu has too many choises it will be somehow confusing
for quick applying the most important tasks (analyse etc.)

+ shorcut that shows the File Info (file location). instead of having to right click on a file in the browser. i too prefer using shortcuts for certain tasks. eg i completely use the keyboard shortcuts with my browser.
