Very nice idea guys :) So you guys broadcast from home pc's to VDJ server from where you distribute to listeners?

or are they produced.....sent over as mp3 and streameD?

Currently, when no one is mixing (as the mixes are live !!!) the server is down (message asking a login and a password with winamp)

The radio is now playing a long time only for you.

Can you reduce the stream quality ? or give an option for slow 56 modem connections ?

Why not cafe but if it is like the TVC sending now, it will be cold lol

"Now Playing-function" => we put the playlist after the set on our blog.

Looks like the Dev team has been very busy!

An idea for the next upgrade: names of songs currently playing with links to get them legally (come to think of it, that may be a good idea to get a DJ sponsored by one of the music download sites, such as beatport, etc.).

Also, back to my post from a little while ago: if I am logged in and looking at the U.S. (English) site, one of the options could be to look at the 'translated' forums from other languages. I realize that I can translate pages individually, but it seems that an automated way to do it could be so much more useful.

Oh, yeah, and change the words on the radio portion from 'Actually mixing' to 'Currently mixing' or 'Now mixing' or 'Current DJ'. 'Actually mixing' made me wonder.

Just some ideas...
 
You're right for "Actually". I have noticed too but i'm waiting for the webmaster ;-)
 
Unbelievable. The stuff technology can do. I don't particularly like the music playing right now. I guess the next thing could be a mix of submitted mixes for multiple genre's (have no idea how difficult multiple stations are but I'm guessing they've already thought about that). I'm sure there are some great DJ's on this board. Great stuff Dev Team, you are great. (pls get TCV's back in stock...I can't/don't want to scratch with a mouse) Damn greedy user :)
 
How about broadcasting reruns on empty time-slots ??

So that we can have a 24/7 VDJ radio.
 
Well, when the radio was created (before entering Atomix Group) our idea was only live mix. For the moment there are only French people so the night we sleep lol but we hope to add American people and others to avoid down server ;-)

We are working on multiple styles ;-)

Great DJ's not really, I'm talking about me lol It was just for the fun at the beginning but now you're right it is serious i know
