由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Hi guys,

I just got the DN HC4500 controller, hook it up to my system, install the driver, turn on VDJ, activate the controler and boom "welcome to VDJ". Loaded deck 1, press play...It was like living a perfect world

I was so happy it went that smooth. But after 2 mins into the song, everything just freezzzzz. The music is playing, but I lost control of both my laptop and the controller. Tried several times, tried to play with the configurations, same scenario.

Is there something That I am missing???

Please help a VDJ Brother out...

On a side note: The New Upgrage Version is SICK, I Love the Skin, That music Key option is off the hook.

Nada, same problem

Could it be something in the configuration?

This is an update issue can you confirm that you loaded the current version which is (Sys 1005). it's a little tricky to upload the software

I agree with Sugar... Maybe did the asio update but not the firmware of the unit.

Hummm, maybe you right.

I'll get back at you guys, thanks

Hello guys, i have the same problem but only when i really put the controller under stress such as scratching or some other sound FX. Other then that it works fine. The only way for me to get control back is to shut down VDJ and restart. I have all the latest updates and my compter is fine. I can't figure out for the life of me why it happens.

Guys,

If you are using Vista, you HAVE to update the firmware on the 4500. But you have to do it from an XP machine. You need to download two different things. There is an asio driver update and there is the firmware update. What is confusing is that they both have the same number in the filename (1005). The file you have to update from an XP machine is the firmware.

Make sure you do both and test. If you are sure you did both but are still having problems, then you might be having some kind of usb conflict.

Oh, and make sure you plug the usb cable directly to your pc and not to a usb hub. That caused me problems before.

just throw this two cents in also ...I'm sure you've done it, but be sure all vdj PROGRAM configurations are accurate under settings....select your controller and the asio drivers... (sometimes the easy stuff blinds us) Been there done that.."damn unplugged rca cable"..Good luck, I have this controller, and XP ...when you do fix the bugs you will love the features...Be sure to get the boggis mapper user manual..lots of user settings you can adjust to your liking
