Topic: recording set...

what additional config do i need to record from the line in? im using a maya 44 usb sound card thanx in advance

Sorry, I am working a job ATM...there should be no additional connections once you select line in and the correct source. I should be done here in a couple...I'll see how your doing when I get done...T
 
Are you using an external mixer? If so run a line out of the mixer into your PC (Mic connection would work fine) using something like this. Once that is done in your record tab select "Line In" like this
Then select the sound card for your PC. I bet that would do it....Once that is done you are going too need to play around with the volume until it is right..but that should work....
 
ok...i will try that i am using an external mixer with the maya 44...when i use master i record all the pull backs when i cut and scratch...where would i run the line from..my booth outpits?
 
Depends on the mixer..look for a record out..your booth out might be set too your headphones...whatever out works in tandem to your master output....
 
So i can just run from record outs...ok have a rec jack that i used for my pcmia sound card
can i use the same wire for this or do i need another

rec= rca...sorry for typo mind moving faster than i type i used this wire to run to the mixer... so i can be used in reverse? cool
