2 x Techincs SL1210's MK2 Black (connected to phono1 and phono3)
Numark DM 1002 MX Mixer (Attached to AUX on my amp)
It all works fine as a mixing desk.
I have added an IBM PC and tried VirtualDJ as a potential winner.
I have a line in and a line out on the PC which is a good start.
I have the line out from the PC plugged into line1/phono2 on the mixer. It works I can hear the PC output through the mixer and amp and mix it in.
I have the line in from the PC plugged into AUX on my amp (technics AA) and the recording settings are set to AUX. I can record.
BUT.. If I have the line in and the line out on the PC turned on I get a hiss, I can only use line out or line in at one time. So I can't record sets with the PC in play. I thought I sould buy a 2nd sound card to solve the problem, then I can seperate the feeds in XP.
There is a REC output from the mixer I could use, would it help for the PC input ?
Thoughts welcome..

p.s. I can't hear the decks on the PC and output to the mixer/amp, so I can't mix on virtualDJ from the deck.

I can't hear the output from the decks/mixer on the PC to mix it in with a track on the PC. Unless I turn off the line out from the PC and turn on the Line IN.

What version of VDJ are you using? What type of sound card are you using? What are your systems specs? Can you answer these questions? What is the atomic symbol for carbon? If a train left New York at 72MPH and another train left Los Angeles at 65 MPH what is the name of the driver? Please be as specific as possible......
