It is a good starter unit but why , not check out also the Ion Icue or Numark Total control these are newer units with more features. and come with a more up todate version of the LE software.
You can upgrade from these to the full Cue at a discount

Hercules DJcontrolMP3 it's the best starter price you can get around for only $129 usd. It includes VirtualDJ 3.4 Console Edition (it's like Home Edition, with one soundcard & DJconsole control. You need a 4.1 or better soundcard to work with this option. You have a 10% discount to VirtualDJ Pro last version (now 5.1).
You can also Bought Numark Total Control at $179 usd and update it to CUE Full, but if you plan to update, think on what you want. With Pro versions you can control many MIDI controllers and also many audio configurations as well.
If you want the newest then go for a Hercules RMX Console for $350 usd and get VirtualDJ 5.0 Console Edition and get 50% of discount on VirtualDJ Pro update.
Many users have use many systems, but it's about your personal taste and use. For me DJcontrolMP3 it's the best starter option for the budget. And for those who want a good MIDI controller and best price for Pro Version and MIDI control, then RMX it's the option. Anyway with the pro version you can use a BCD-2000 or 3000, Denon HC-4500, Pioneer 400, DAC-3, Total Control, DMC-2, iCDX, VCI-100, XP10, and others...
