Can someone tell me what Recursing actually is? Seems different from adding or removing from database. A quick definition would be great. Thanks!

When you click on a folder, it lists only the files directly within that folder. By recursing, you are asking to have the browser show all of the files, as well as any files that may be in sub folders of the topmost folder.
Here's a sample folder structure.
=Folder-1
---Song-1.mp3
==Folder-2
------Song-2.mp3
==Folder-3
------Song-3.mp3
So clicking on Folder-1 will show only "Song-1.mp3" However, recursing Folder-1 will display all "Song-1", "Song-2" and "Song-3".
