How do i open up files from the hard drive without using my mouse or mouse pad. while using vdj



I wand to just use the mk2

use the joystick, check the config and make sure the joystick is set to be used as the mouse, this will let you scroll the directories and switch from list to list. then use the two buttons near the bottom of the joystick to select the deck to which you would like to load the track.
 
ok i can scroll down and look at the folders but how do i open subfolders within a folder using the joystick
 
use the buttons below the joystick to right and left click

i need to open the folder first
 
is there any plugins that somebody might recommend for the mk2 i have not added anything since i bought it
 
if you have a track selected it will load it to the deck, if it is a folder it will open and close it.

I can't help with the plugins, I'm home user basically, not many goodies for us.

Do not select "Enable DJ Mouse" in Hercules control panel. Navigate from tree to browser by moving joystick right, left from browser to tree, up and down to move one folder or track at a time (does not repeat if held). With a folder selected in the tree, right button expands, left collapses; in browser, left loads left deck, right loads...well you get the picture, lol - happy browsing ;)
