Topic: Splitting hadphone output to cue up tracks

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

I've down-loaded the trial version of VDJ and need to know if there is anyway I can split the headphone output on my laptop so I can cue up another track and actively mix the track in while another track is playing through the main headphone output. I've got a new DELL laptop with twin headphone out jacks and the mic output plugged into my stereo. Want to be able to use VDJ like I would with decks and a mixer, but want to be sure VDJ will do what I want it to do before I buy. Apreciate any help.

VDJ support that in the real product. You should definitely buy VDJ, its a very good product. I have been using it for years and development team are listening to what customer wants but also suprises me with new features.

You should be able to do that with the trial version as it is identical to the pro version.
In the third box in sound config, select mono/separated which will give you two mono outputs, one for main one for monitor.
Basically you are spiltting the stereo output in two.

same as rick but with pictures... i love comics lol

basically if you cant follow the clip

go to config

soundsetup

outputs > external mixer

soundcards > mono seperated

output channels give you white lead/left channel red lead/right channel to your mixer

you will have to use a y splitter for each channel to get dual inputs into mixing desk

which of course will only give you mono sound output

hope it helps

gotta get round to making a new version of this i know... to bloody fuzzy
