even more so with 3 screens.. damn...!
 
I think i would love that for a main screen to control effects...transitions...dragging a song to a track...etc...but using it to replace a cross fader or jog wheels...seems a little difficult to me.

You should try it. It is just as easy as using a harware controller and you can control your control surface configuration a lot easier too.

a question that im sure nobody has thought of. is there any friction with your hands when you are trying to do a scratching motion on the screen. I mean like a rubbing feel when you move your hand back and forth.
 
If ur hands are dry it isnt bad, if their a little sweaty it can feel a little sticky from time to time, but other than that it is awesome.
 
But for 2000 bucks you can buy a lot of nice other hardware too !!
 
Or you can spend the $500 and buy just the screen and mount it to your rack.

Here is the laptop I use at the moment and it runs virtual dj like a dream :)

It has a touch screen and 500GB HD which I think they have made 1TB the standard now
