Topic: Backspin gone crazy! lol

I reinstalled Vista & VDJ after an unfortunate disc partition experiment went wrong. Not a big deal but . .

Last night while I was working, VDJ just kept performing random 'backspins' while songs were playing.

It happened about 8 times in 4 hours. After the backspin, the song just continued as usual.

Anyone know what's going on here?

I know it's not really funny while you are working, but I guess you had a laugh. I would. Did you have the backspin effect up in the effect bar of the skin.

 
Well the first couple of times they did, but after a while they thought I was just being silly. I really need to cure this problem lol
 
Yes, the backspin was the effect that was loaded, but it wasn't activated. I do have a keyboard shortcut but I didn't use it. " of the times it happened I wasn't even in the same room as the laptop!
 
Dumb question, were you typing when it went off?
 
No, I wasn't typing. Sometimes I wasn't even in the DJ booth!

Did you have timecode enabled as input? If so, and mic was on, the above phenomenon can happen :)

If not, some sort of controller thats drivers arent reinstalled after your HD crash?
Or backspin plugin activated by it, randomly..

Do some testing, I'm sure you'll find the devil :)
