Topic: Karaoke Plugin Error, Please Help

I am about to do my second night with entirely Karaoke. The first night went great. But I have a few questions to improve.

1) Ive heard about the Karaoke plug-in where we can enter songs and names? I clicked on it and I get this error Message " d3dx9_33.cll "

I am using Version 5.0.7 on HP Pavillion DV version with 4 GIg Ram. Anyone have any help?

2) I also connect to the projector but was asked if I could setup a monitor on the stage as well. Is there a way to be able to add that and have them playing simultaneously on the monitor and the projector?

I don't know about the error you received, as I don't do karaoke...

The video you can do easily enough. You can purchase a cable that will split the signal, not recommended as you lose signal strength and it also may cause ingress on your signal. (lines and noise caused by over the air signals of different sorts) Or you can buy a distribution amplifier, one in - two out. basically a powered splitter. Something like these depending on your cable preference.

Thanks for the info, I found the splitter at Radio Shack.

As for the DirectX, It is asking me to type the location where I want it extracted? I have no idea where it should go.
 
You just extract it in a temp folder and go inside and run "DXsetup.exe". After install you can delete that temp folder.
