I'm looking for a software that I can view .VOB files after I rip them. I'm currently rip them then go into VDJ to make sure things are up to snuff with quality and if I need to edit parts. I could use Sony Vegas but that takes the same amount of effort as well. Is there a media player that will just play the file alone.

Yes, you can try the VLC media player, PowerDVD, etc.

I use Media Player Classic that comes with the K-LITE Codec Pack. Loads pretty fast and doenst requiere too much resources.
