Topic: crackling when using slide controls

hi people. i am pretty new to Virtual DJ but when i use the slide controls, be it the crossfader or mid, treb etc i get a loud sort of crackling noise .Canb anyone help me sort out my preferences set up please ? in simple if at all possible lol.Cheers people.Wayne UK

Set the performances tab to the left, increase latency as your sound card cannot play at your current setting.
 
What version are you using?
What equipment are using ( midi, controller, TTs ect. )
Are you using PC or Laptop?
 
Just disable the "safe mode " option in the config
 
Yep all the above post are right.

Disable the safe mode n put auto in latency n put the slider right to the fastest in the performance tab in config. Also u can try to disable the overclock.
