Lately I have noticed when I play videos in VDJ the video and audio are out of sync. When I play them in Zoom player or Quick Time they play perfectly fine, but when played in VDJ they are way out of sync (sometimes by as much as a full beat). All of my videos are in .mp4 format using the h264 codec and the mp4 videos I download from Smashvids are having the same problem. I just recently noticed this hapenning and can't think of anything I changed recently in set up, drivers, etc......any ideas as to what causes this and any possible solutions?

I have noticed the same thing with my videos. It is never a full beat more of a strobe effect as it is off slightly. It is very irritating to me.
I just never got around to making a post.

I thought it was a bad rip.

not a bad rip, they played fine until about a week ago, and as I said I have not changed or installed anything so i don't know what would be causing it all of a sudden, and they still play fine in my regular media players ZOOM and QUICK TIME

Are you cleaning up your caches??
Not sure if this will help - but it certainly will not hurt.
I use a program called CCleaner and run it before every gig. It's free - you can find the link here:

Well it's seems there's more of us with the same problem.
I have my DVD's ripped to divx format and for some unknown reason the audio is out of sync towards the video. (mainly the longer tracks > 7 min has this problem)
Been recording over and over but problem still there -
Sometimes when it is in sync, and you jump 1 min further and then jump back it's suddenly out sync.
Other question: My PC is not connected to the net, so is it really required to clear caches?

Yes .... daily operational data is always being cached for various reasons like to "speed up" access to the same information.
You'll see all the cached information when you run CCleaner for the first time.
NOTE: In spite of cleaning out my caches on a regular basis - I have noticed the occasional "out of sync" issue but only with long video megamixes.
