Ive been down loading and testing skins... some install without problems.
Other skin files when I attempt to run the installer fail to install .... with the following message......
virtual dj software not found.
You must install virtual dj first.
please check on www.virtualdj.com for more information.
Ive looked though the forums and found nothing relating to v5.07, but found earlier threads suggesting
the skins themselves needed fixing......thanks in advance for your help

I had the same problem and from what I understand (which may or not be correct) some skins are written for earlier versions of VDJ and are not compatable with 5.07 which is why you get that message. When downloading skins, read the notes at the bottom. You can see what version of VDJ the skin was written for. Try sticking to the ones that are written for 5.0 and above.

After some more testing ive discovered that this problem is only with the older skins, as ive kept all my old versions I unistalled 5.07
and installed version 3, the problem skins install in Programs/ Virtualdj/ skins as a zip/rar file.
I Put these are then put in my documents/ virtualdj/ skins
Cant garentee they work with 5 but hey there old skins.....thanks for your help
