Topic: Things that make VDJ crash

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

VDJ is a good program and for the most part being the computer geek i am, it rarely crashes. But on the other hand there are things at least on my computer that makes VDJ crash. Maybe if we all put what makes are VDJ crash, we can learn from each other what not to do

2 things that make my VDJ crash or freze

1) When I have a loop enabled on one side and then vocals on the other side and then i try to scratch the song.... freeze - %80 of the time.

2) When i enable a sample and press the button really fast enabling the sample to go on and off..on and off...i used the sample from 50 cent in the da club "go go go go " ....when pressed fast crashed - %100 of the time.

feel free to add

Is Keylock activated?

my only experience of VDJ crashes was where i loaded corrupt MP3s.

but a quick pass through Easy CDDA Extractor to re-encode the offending files stops the risk of the MP3s bringing the show down.

when i turn off the keylock and try to scratch the song with the vocals enabled, the song freezes still.. performance is a lil bitter but it still freezes for a couple seconds.

specs of computer? sounds just like the computer is slow... ie too many programs in backround

mine is a 6 yr old dell with only 512 of ram.... works fine w/ 2 tccds

Using windows Vista

It doesn't happen all the time, but if I do it enough it is sure to make VDJ crash:

Type a song name in the browser then erase it by clicking in the search box and typing something new. 1 times out of 4 it will crash the browser. To get around the problem I always click on a directory before doing a search. It has just become force of habit for me now.

did you recurse your main folder?

It looks like the "Invalid folder" problem. Can you post the crashguard here.

Now that I look for the Crashguard file, I don't see one from the last crash. In fact, it's a few months old. Any suggestions?

Brake failure.....makes me crash every time...OH! wait....VDJ.....never mind.....

using a crack version
using bootleg download mp3's
using an out of date comp.
using an underpowered laptop
using improper drivers for devices
