I got a CD of ableton with a sound card I bought, and I finally decided to check it out.. I've been doing remixes and mashups in Acid, but I was told ableton would be even more powerful!
Anyhow, I'm making progress, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to fade out..
for example, in sound forge, you can choose the start and end of the fade out point, and it will create a fade... in acid, you just create a volume point, and drag it out as long as you want the fade..
I can find no such feature in Ableton...
Can anyone tell me how I fade the end of a track out?

Normally I just fade out manually.

After recording your audio, or midi, automation volume can be adjusted only in Arrangement view. In arrangement view select the track, mixer, track volume and draw the line where you want the volume to be.
