hi guys could someone PLEASE PLEASE tell me how to take just the vocals from a song so then i can put them over another song, also how to take any one component of a song becuse sometimes vocals of one song will go with the bass line of another song but for example the beats of the two sons clash so id really appreciate if someone could shed some light on my very basic and probably stupid problem!lol thanks alot!

Its not that easy, or even "possible".
For it to work, you would need an instrumental, or loop of a intrumental part of the song, and use a subtract filter, that would take away the music frequencies. There is such a plugin for VDJ.
But the easier way would be to buy/get the acapella of the song. Many or most songs have acapella versions out.
