If you are refering to Numark Virtual Vinyl.
You have two options using the external mixer to do all of the mixing of audio or purchasing a midi mixer such as the Nu04 to control the video proportion and to control the software directly.

@madogg, any DJ mixer will do. As was said what's best for you is up to what you wanna do with it. I'm now using the Vestax dsm 410 because of my budget, it all depends on your needs & budget;^]
