i think a tech guy would need to field this one:
i like to open 2 vdj windows... except only 1 window is tcv and the other window is straight internal mode... therefore 4 tables altogether (2ttv, 2 virtual).. i run the sound for the virtual through my computers main soundcard (not my maya)... i have a maya for the tt's and y splitter from the headphone jack of my laptop to another channel of my mixer... and remember, 2 vdj WINDOWS are open (and i switch back and forth between them)
now the problem: vdj works perfectly in the first window, all my songs are analyzed, bpms, cue points, everything... but in the second window, it does not recognize any files that are stored on my desktop (no bpms, no cue points) but only recognizes those on the external hd... when i open the second window i get a wierd message that says "4025 have been converted to the vdj data base and i should add to db to quicken searches"... but then when i go into the 'browser' tab in the second window to hit 'fix' or 'check' or 'clean' the drop down box beside those options does not show ANY drives (not c: drive or g: drive)... this is quite wierd.. i want it to work the same on both windows without having to move everything to my external hd.
