Brian Brian Brian, please watch your language... ;-) Yeah they are in huge trouble there aren't they? Its the equivalent of ATOMIX asking FORMAT to stop helping Skin users.

I was reading about that on DIGG. Yeah, I would say Creative really stepped into with this one. Glad I don't use any of their stuff. Way to treat your users! Talk about biting the hand that feeds. I think some of these companies get so big and self righteous, that they forget who got them to where they are.
 
I gave up using their cards ages ago.... back in the old days of PCDJ red, the SB Live cards had some kind of phasing problem with PCDJ that didn't occurr with other cards. Bought a Gigaport and never looked back...
 
same here...

the only creative product I own is a cheap little external soundcard I bought for my laptop back in 2002 so I can have line-in inputs...


It has either been Maya's , Delta's, Serato's, or M-Audio Soundcards since...
 
for me the best sound card is Creative XFI elite pro - PCI ..only 1 ms latency , with an amazing sound ...better than Serato & Final Scratch ... 3 line in Asio , 7,1 (for 3th channel , ej samples) -
