Topic: The New Owner....

Say hello to the new owner of Euphoria Salon & Spa. I am co owner with my ex wife (don\'t ask). We closed yesterday, and I was there all night cleaning. It\'s an up-scale salon, but the previous owner was absent, and the employees were lazy. The place was neat, but still dirty. There is still more to be done, but that will come on Sunday. Neither one of us are in the business, but this was a great opportunity. She is a vice president at Merrill Lynch, but always wanted a spa. She is now trying to get on the buyout list (full benefits for a year). One of her friends is a licensed beautician, so we are dependant upon her. Of course we can\'t let that go on to long, so I may go to barber school. Of course I will continue to DJ, because this is what I love. However, you must have an exit strategy. I have stated before that I could be fired at any moment, because I say what is on my mind. The owner of the club can\'t stand it, but I can\'t change who I am. Well I could, but I don\'t want to. The only reason I am still here is because his wife loves me, and she really is the boss, so my lips are firmly planted on her very large ass.

Oh wait, some of you wimpy laptop owners, don\'t know what that is. I couldn't agree more. We DJs have the potential to make a lot of money under a very short time period. If we used the effort wisely, we could have a very nice portfolio put together. Me personally would like to have an EVENT CENTER. I already know what it would be like and how it would be decorated with lights and sound.

My brother DJs take advantage of the potential you all have think ahead. It's not just about having fun but what you can do with this valuable skill.
 
@Listen 2, you have no idea how many Brazilian wax jobs I am exposed to, every single day. They can not wait to show me. This is worst than water-boarding. Did I mention how much I hate this job?

I'm going to keep in touch with you AMAHM. My wife is getting certified in Massage Therapy and will be going to school for cosmetology soon. Our goal is to open a Spa in the next three years. Would love to get some tips and things to look out for.
 
Hey good luck. If I recall you're in NJ right? Where is the spa? My wife and daughter go to Depasquale and I would love to stop paying them all that money :)
 
Euphoria Salon & Spa, 647 S. Rt 18 south, East Brunswick, NJ. It's in the A & P shopping center, behind K-Mart.
