OK This may be easy but it got me into trouble this weekend. I have a laptop that I run video ion for slide shows by hooking it up to a big screen TV. When I hook up the VGA cable to the TV it and open up the second monitor the picture goes black after about 5 seconds of running the video. Then when I try and readjust the resolution I the same thing happens. What do you think is causing this? No matter what screen resolution I use I cannot keep the picture up on the big screen TV

Did you enable "extended monitor" or second monitor, in Windows display settings?
Right-click desktop,and go to monitor properties.
(btw, this can ONLY be done, WHEN the 2nd monitor is connected)

The monitor or projector has to be connected before you boot up the laptop.
