Topic: When will VDJ work with Rane TTM 57?

Hello, I would like to know when will VDJ be completely compactible with the Rane TTM 57 mixer?

It might not be able to.

The ttm57 is locked to rane.
 
So does anyone knows what really causes the problem here?
Why is TTM 57 incompatible to VDJ?
Some kind of protection from Rane or else..?
Is the Rane only part that can make it work, or else..?
I would like to know, please.

As Marcel said - it is locked to the SSL software. You can use the standard mixer side of it with a soundcard. But you won't be able to use it as a sound card or MIDI controller. It's also the same reason No other software supports/is compatible with the mixer other than SSL. Matter of fact, I don't think Serato is going to make Itch compatible with it.

I can use it as a mixer only. I just wish I could link the crossfader to the 57s crossfader.

as of now, I have complete control of the audio, but zero control of video.
which means I have to work 2 cross faders....the fader on the 57, and on the screen
 
i saw a video in serato forums of a dj who hacked his mixer ttm57 memory and programed it to work as a midi control an fully controls the virtual dj screen and faders i would love to see how he did it though. i like serato but i think that virtual dj is has every thing that my self and other serato users and will not have unless we buy a bunch of useless equipment and plugins. serato is way over hyped but if you are a real dj you will know that it doenst mater how much your equipment costs is how you use it to make the crowd have an unforgetable night. so i know it is possible but it voids your mixers warranty with rane. so if you use serato log in to the serato forums and look for rane ttm57 hacked, and you'll see the video evidence.
