At least I bought VDJ, an HC-4500 with a DNX-500. I have to travel to pick up the hardware this saturday, so will use it until sunday. Im soooo happy!!!
Now I just need a PCIe16X video card for VDJ to mix videos. Any suggestions on a card that work with VDJ and can be operated with only 1 monitor connected and a second output (s-video or composite) as a secondary display. I have trouble with an ATI X1550 (need to use 2 monitors at same time!, and then assignate the SVIDEO for the secondary output).

Welcome, and any of the ATI PCIe cards should work. Get one with the most memory, that you can afford.

You don't need a massive 256MB PCIe 16x video card to do video mixing. I'm able to drop video and scratch on my onboard 256mb video card. You're not rendering anything 3D intensive, as long as its half decent it will work just fine.
On the plus note, you've just purchased the greatest VirtualDJ rig known to man! I just started rockin the HC4500 with the X900 mixer, and let me tell you, INCREDIBLE, you'll see, enough said..

Thanks Chris, but I still need a second output. The main for my monitor, and the second for the projetor.
I just bough an ATI X1650, and works good, but I dont know why the output in the SVideo out is in B&W. Anyways, will do more test at night.

If I was building a PC now... I would go with one of the following three cards. All ATI.
x1900 512MB
2600HD 512MB
3850HD 512MB
3870HD 512HD (if you are a balla LOL)
I actually have the 3870HD card that I use for more a home threatre PC to play blu-ray. Its a really sweet card. Haven't tried VDJ on it but it smokes for blu-ray.

Thanks SpoilU, will keep the X1650 at home, and will try the 2600HD-512 for the VDJ system

I had a problem with black & white s-video also. It turns out that I had selected the wrong video input on the TV.

A black & white picture via S-video is usually a connection problem - there are two video signals that travel down an s-video cable, the luma (brightness) signal, and the chroma (colour) signal. If you're just getting a black & white picture, it's usually because the chroma isn't connected.

I tried everything yesterday with no results. I decided to return it to the dealer but when I remove it from the PC I notice a Jumper in the card... It was set to PAL and not NTSC, I put it in NTSC settings and problem solved. Thanks. Works wonderful!!!!
