Electronic repair.
I sent a Mixer in for warranty repair before Christmas. It still has not come back (local shop).
Problem was, the Microphone input was shorted. I would always have a hot mic even when the gain was completely turned down. If my mains were up I'd have mic.
So I took it back to point of purchase. I was informed that I was 1 month off warranty. (1 year, 1 month...... only 1 year warranty)
Thankfully they decided to cover it.
It's now march and I still have not gotten my mixer back.
I've been told the parts are Back ordered from China.
I wonder if the part I've stuck waiting for is a $3.00 10K potentiometer.
Does anyone know where to find wiring diagrams for mixers? I know there's a lot of PCB's used now but I can still solder pots and faders onto a board.
It's irritating to wait. Even if It's covered under warranty.
